Moth and Panther

The moth and the panther cards dictate the course of my journey. For me, moth is the grass is greener on the other side, THE most vicious undercurrent of my life. As the drum begins Sasha is in the darkness already waiting. I am happy to see her. Love fills my heart and I shed a few tears as I greet her. I truly love this magical being. I tell her and I can feel her love flowing back to me. Tossing a smoked fish her way, she catches it, gulping it down in one swallow. ‘Are you ready to be my guide into this pattern?’, I ask her. She simply nods. I invoke the dragon Balance who comes in with a swirling whooshing sound taking a human form in robes. I ask Sash to lead the way. We walk together in the darkness for a time. Balance, without a word, morphs into her dragon form flying off out in front of us. The darkness begins to take the shape of a jungle, dense and dark. There is only a slight single track so I walk behind Sasha as she leads the way. We come to a waterfall and she motions for me to enter. I step down into the water  swimming to the waterfall. Sitting under the waterfall I speak to the water. I show the water in my mind the unsettledness that pervades my being at the deepest levels. I ask the water to cleanse this away. I begin to repeat over and over I forgive myself. This then morphs into I am sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you. As this prayer whispers from my lips, the dragon Balance is circling overhead. Her circling begins to create a vortex as the pool churns into a whirlpool. I leave the waterfall allowing myself to be taken by the whirlpool. Whipped down, down, down it takes me until I am spit out into another dark place. I am holding in my hand from the pool a small amount of water. I release the water from my hand to the ground saying a small heart felt prayer as the water leaches into this dark place. The water spreads out into all directions creating a beautiful glistening surface across the whole area. I stand in awe admiring the beauty of what the water has created. It’s like a glassy surface that shimmers with all the colors of the rainbow shifting and shining like an iridescence. I open my hand and begin to blow. Moths fly out of my palm in all directions. They don’t fly far because they incinerate mid-flight, their sparking ashes landing on the iridescent surface of the water. Upon contact with the water the ashes pop and sparkle then disappear under the water’s surface. Sasha and the dragon Balance appear just off in the distance so I walk to join them as we return to the beginning which is also the end.
